Simon Beddoe is a trumpet/flugel horn player, composer and teacher based in South London. He studied jazz at the Leeds College of Music graduating in 2003. Simon now
lectures as well as coordinates the events management module at the Leeds College of Music.
Simon has worked with many critically acclaimed groups and artists. He has toured professionally with various ensembles throughout the world and has played all the
major UK festivals and venues.
Simon or ‘Bobby’ as many call him, has received international acclaim for his work with groundbreaking electronica group Submotion Orchestra for whom he plays brass and
composes for. Submotion Orchestra have recorded 3 EP’s and 4 Albums
tin roof’ directed by Sarah Esdaile. He has also composed and directed/produced for Leeds Transform festival.
